Swig Caffeine Guide

If you avoid caffeine, the base soda decides it. Swig does not publish a caffeine amount for each drink, so this guide sorts drinks by their base: a caffeine-free base means a caffeine-free drink, and a caffeinated base means the drink has caffeine. When you build your own drink, the same rule applies to the base you pick.

Caffeine-free Swig drinks

These drinks have no caffeine ingredient in them.

  • Refreshers: All 8 Refreshers (Mango Breeze, Strawberry Breeze, Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash, Unbreakable, The Fighter, Sandy Cheeks, Fruit Water) are water-based and made with syrups, purees and fresh fruit. None of the ingredients contains caffeine.
  • Sprite-based dirty sodas: Sprite is caffeine-free (Coca-Cola lists Sprite as caffeine-free). So these 7 are caffeine-free: Crimson Cauldron, Hula Girl, Loop-T-Loop, Poppin’ Pineapple, Riptide, Shark Attack, Unlucky Ducky. The added syrups, purees, cream and gummy candy add no caffeine.
  • Create Your Own: pick Sprite as the base and any caffeine-free flavors, and the drink stays caffeine-free.

Swig drinks that contain caffeine

  • Dr Pepper drinks: Texas Tab, Raspberry Dream, Malibu, Princess Peach, Dr Spice, Ring King. Dr Pepper contains caffeine, so these drinks do too.
  • Pepsi drinks: Cherry Bomb. Pepsi contains caffeine.
  • Mountain Dew drinks: Beach Babe, Bloody Wild, Caramel Apple Elixir, Dew Gooder, Endless Summer, Guava Have It!, Watermelon Sugar. Mountain Dew contains caffeine.
  • Diet Coke drinks: The Founder. Diet Coke contains caffeine.
  • Swig Energy drinks: all 7 (Lemon Berry Bliss, Weekend Dream, Cabana Colada, Coastal Kiss, Aloha Horizon, Sweet Skies, Passion Swirl). These are real energy drinks and contain caffeine.

A bigger cup holds more soda, so it holds more caffeine too. Swig sizes run from Kids 12 oz to X-Large 44 oz.

Why this guide does not list caffeine amounts

Swig does not publish a caffeine amount for each drink, and the amount in a cup depends on the size you order. That is why this guide says which drinks have caffeine and which do not, instead of giving milligram numbers that would only be guesses. If caffeine matters for health reasons, check with the store before you order.
